Koren Hudson, MA, LPC, NCC
Koren Hudson, LPC, NCC, serves as the Executive Clinical Director at Horizon Recovery, where she oversees clinical operations for both residential and outpatient programs supporting adolescents and families.
With more than 18 years of experience in behavioral health, Koren brings extensive leadership experience across residential treatment, outpatient services, and inpatient care settings.
Koren is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor in Arizona. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Trauma, Abuse, and Deprivation from Ottawa University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Neuroscience at the University of Florida.
Her clinical background includes specialized training in EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, CBT, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT).
Throughout her career, Koren has held leadership positions with organizations including The Meadows Adolescent Center, notMYkid, Destiny Springs Healthcare Hospital, Arizona’s Children Association, and Touchstone Behavioral Health.
She has helped develop and launch innovative treatment programs, secure AZDHS licensure, and lead initiatives focused on clinical quality, compliance, and positive client outcomes.
At Horizon Recovery, Koren is passionate about creating compassionate, trauma-informed programming that supports lasting healing for adolescents and families. She also provides training and presentations for professionals and community stakeholders throughout Arizona.
Koren has been recognized for her contributions to the behavioral health field, including receiving the Sierra Tucson Gratitude for Giving Compassion Award and being featured in Phoenix Magazine.
