I’m giving 5 stars because they go above and beyond for your kiddo and they want the best for them and that is literally everything and they really put my mind at ease seeing how it worked and why they do things they way they do and im not gonna lie I had little hope bouncing my child from facility to facility only to find how they failed my child even more and so I get it I was very skeptical BUT let me tell you I wish I could go!!

My son has been to many different programs, and I can say with extreme pleasure that Horizon Recovery is a special program… When they tell you they are going to do something it is NOT lip service. They do it. From the first day to after the last it has felt like being a part of a family. The care and respect they showed/gave my son and our family is like nothing we have experienced prior.

To see the change in my kiddo and to see the growth is nothing short of a miracle it’s something I had started to think my child wouldn’t find I’ve had to fight so hard for mental health for my child and so I’ve been around for a few years and this place sticks to their word let that sink in when you are looking because MOST DONT!!! As founder and administrator of Horizon Recovery, he leverages his Master’s in Business Leadership and Ethics to develop evidence-based teen treatment programs that blend clinical excellence with empathetic care. His firsthand understanding of mental health challenges among first responders drives his mission to create comprehensive support systems for struggling teens and their families.

MD, MBA /Medical Director

Dr. Mona Amini brings her board certification in psychiatry and extensive C-suite leadership experience to her role as medical director, where she specializes in adolescent mental health and behavioral addiction treatment. Her prominent positions with the American Psychiatric Association and past presidency of the Arizona Psychiatric Society demonstrate her authority in advancing mental healthcare standards and advocacy. Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Amini’s co-founding of the AZ Psychiatric Society’s Women’s Group reflects her commitment to fostering inclusive, evidence-based mental health treatment while mentoring the next generation of psychiatric professionals.
